The LS2 Assault Helmet is constructed from a Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA) shell, a lightweight and strong composite material. It is DOT approved and meets the FMVSS 218 Standard, as well as the requirements imposed by the California Air Resources Board (CARB). The helmet features a Pinlock-ready, 3D optically correct shield with a Quick Release System, and an inner drop-down sun shield.
The interior comfort liner is made of a high-tech fabric that wicks moisture and dries quickly, and is fully removable and washable. LS2's 3D laser technology has been used to pre-curve the comfort pads, ensuring all-day comfort with no hot spots.
The helmet offers adjustable, dynamic flow-through ventilation, with large, adjustable vents on the chin bar and at the top, working in conjunction with the rear spoiler and side venturi vents. The wide eye port houses an optically correct, Pinlock-ready faceshield, with the lens insert sold separately.
